Typical ‘prostitutes and pimps’ melodrama of the period, reviewed in The Stage on 10th May 1956 (‘Drama of a girl’s downfall’, page 13).

Her performance in this twice-nightly tour helped win Janet Munro a British Lion film contract the following year. (‘Film part for Janet Munro’, The Stage 28th February 1957, page 11).
