Medea

Angelique Rockas`s interpretation of Medea at Theatro Technis, directed by George Eugeniou in January 1982 is one of the distinguishing performances of her career. Rosemary Say, the Sunday Telegraph critic described her performance as `fiercely agile` and Ned Chaillet of The Times exclaimed that in spite of the overtly political tone of the production `…the true story of the wrath of Medea spurned is encouraged to explode in the dangerous passions of Angelique Rockas .. an extremely threatening tragic heroine` . http://tinyurl.galegroup.com/tinyurl/BNypv3
The Camden Scanner `Angelique Rockas in the central part gives us a barefoot performance of great physical power`.
