Dracula
This revival starred Hamilton Deane and his wife, Dora May Patrick, in the same roles they’d originated in 1924. Advertising listed Deane above the title, with Patrick and Edward Dunstan under it, but no mention of the actor in the title role.

Play description
Hamilton Deane’s famous stage adaptation of the Bram Stoker novel, first produced at the Grand Theatre, Derby from 15th to 20th May 1924. Deane’s adaptation was itself adapted by John L Balderston for presentation on Broadway in October 1927 [qv].
