This production’s initial run in April 1961 was extended, after which it was revived at the same address from 29th November. Paul Stockman, starring and directing, revived it again in January 1962, this time at the Theatre Royal, Margate.

Play description

Hamilton Deane’s famous stage adaptation of the Bram Stoker novel, first produced at the Grand Theatre, Derby from 15th to 20th May 1924. Deane’s adaptation was itself adapted by John L Balderston for presentation on Broadway in October 1927 [qv].
