Kitty (Kathleen Emily) Quixley

The second daughter to John Henry Quixley and Kate White, Kathleen was born in the March quarter of 1900 at 44 Clayton Street. This is just off the Oval in Lambeth London. The same year her elder sister Alice dies. By 1903 a third daughter is born but Kate Quixley (White) dies the same year leaving two daughters. Kitty is brought up by her father, uncle and paternal grandmother Sibella Carveth at 44 Clayton St . Her younger sister Florence is brought up by her aunt Harriet Quixley (nee Roalfe). The 1911 census shows them living on Methley St, Lambeth. (The distance is 0.2 miles)
