He used the pseudonym Winston Graham for his literary works but adopted it as his official name by deed poll on the 7th May 1947.
He is probably best remembered for his Poldark series of historical novels set in Cornwall.
“Circumstantial Evidence” is a retitled version of “Shadow Play”
